Garden Maintenance
Planting Design
I offer regular maintenance gardening to keep your garden healthy and looking beautiful. I garden to benefit soil health and wildflife wherever possible as this in turn benefits your plants. This is balanced with a high attention to detail, ensuring your garden always looks cared for.
I can assist with the following:
-
Thoughtful pruning and training of shrubs and roses.
-
Seasonal care of herbaceous perennials including staking, pruning, dividing and cutting back.
-
Weeding.
-
Cutting and shaping of small to medium hedges and topiary.

If you want to re-invigorate, re-imagine or improve the planting in your garden, I offer planting design for your existing or new garden borders and spaces, including pots and planters.

Choosing plants that are suited to growing in the existing conditions is the best way of ensuring success.
Where possible, I will select plants that are good for wildlife and provide you with year round interest. I will also look at whether we can re-use and re-invigorate your existing planting where applicable and appropriate.

The planting design process:

-
I will undertake an initial assessment of the existing planting (if present).
-
I'll send you a questionnaire to ascertain your preferences and requirements.
-
I will produce a mood board to demonstrate overall style and colour palette.
-
I will complete an on-site survey, take measurements and asses soil type and aspect.
-
I will produce a detailed planting plan and plant schedule (how many plants are required and how they will be arranged).
-
I can source and arrange delivery of plants for you or you can do this yourself.
-

If required I can produce an annual maintenance schedule for you to follow throughout the year.

Please note I do not offer wider garden design services or advise on hard landscaping.
